The size batteries you need are available at most pharmacies. I buy on eBay in ten packs and refrigerated until use. My 2 XD-11, 3 X-700, 2 XE-7 a.m.-2 p.m. XG-9 is that the use of the battery for me to buy in bulk LOL!
Bring your old battery, if applicable, or as you already mentioned manual your local Radio Shack and take the same or equivalent battery modern. They have maps, what can their stock piles to replace almost any cell in the world.
